TEACHING

Philip has been teaching violin professionally for 14 years. In addition to his private studio instruction, Philip has also held a variety of other teaching positions. He was a violin teaching assistant at the University of Oklahoma, instructing violinists in the university music school, and he has instructed private, group, and ensemble classes for music festivals and events around the country.

Philip recently moved to Lexington, Massachusetts. He serves as Vice President for Durham Music Teachers Association, an affiliate of Music Teachers National Association, and freelances with local symphonies. He teaches violin both remotely and in person.

Recitals & Other Performance Opportunities:
There are two full studio recitals held each year as well as various other performance opportunities provided throughout the year. Students are highly encouraged to perform in the full studio recitals, and they are always welcome to participate in any of the regular performance opportunities.
